The Mason Residence
Reflection
There are features of a residential drawing; they include the ground lines, hidden lines, walls, roof, doors, windows, and porch. They are all important to the creation of the elevations as they must be shown properly in the design in order to have it made correctly in the field. In order to distinguish which is used where in the drawings I looked at the screenshots of the finished product that are on his N drive. If I hadn’t had known about the screenshots I wouldn’t have done the lines in the correct layer and would have had to go back over and redo my drawing entirely. Other than the lines layer, the drawing was relatively easy. It was just a accumulation of all the skills we learned from earlier this year and applied them with help from Grummer’s videos and creating the drawings took very little time and I finished a day early.
