I met this standard through my work in class as well as my outside research and general knowledge. The purpose of a foundation plan is to create a document showcasing the necessary materials and style of foundation needed for a certain project. I met the next standard mainly in class work from the previous year and this year. In the creation of the documents of my project, I had to be able to know and label the slabs, crawl space, and basement. In the creation of the elevations is mainly where the terms had to be used as they are essential for the site workers to know exactly what is being used in the creation of the site. I met the next standard in my work in Revit this semester. In the creation of my site i had to create a foundation plan to showcase the base of my project; this plan had to be dimensioned to ensure the correctness of the design in real life. I met the next standard in my transfer work in AutoCAD. After completing the project in Revit, the project was shifted into an AutoCAD format for the creation of its own set of documents in the AutoCAD system. This standard has real world applications because the creation of a project depends heavily on the designers ability to create a foundation plan with correct terminology and dimensions so that is correctly created. My learning goals related to this standard are to be able to create a very well constructed foundation plan with correct dimensioning techniques and terminology in my work outside of class.
